This Page is dedicated to Son Set Beach Production's Remote Recording capabilities. We have many choices to choose from.

At the "bottom" of the scale I use the Roland VS-1880 18-Track Recorder for missions that require 8 or less channels to record at once.

These audio files are then taken back to the studio to fine tune and use the "Magic" we do so well. This just sounds so good!

The VS-1880 also have two of these 24 bit effects cards

installed for major effects processing if needed.

Next is the Tascam MX-2424

This set-up allows us to recorded 24 tracks at once. We can combine several of these (up to 30 @ 24 tracks each) to record high quality audio up to 24bit 96Khz resolutions. Very Nice Indeed.

The Tascam DM-24 Mixer is used for the input control and is made for the MX-2424 as the controller.

I remember that Paul Mc Cartney used two of these when he was on tour.

That is great for a 48 track at-once record session that is Live.

#1 is Nuendo 3

This setup can be as many tracks as necessary and can involve a massive amout of hardware to accomadate the mission.

#2 is Protools 002 LE Rig

32 or more Channels. Tracking can get pretty nice and Phatt. This includes the Degidesign Mixer and Assorted Hardware and Pre-Amps to get the job done.
